Educational & Other Qualifications:- 
Essential:  (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the  First or
Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act,  1956. (102 of 1956).
Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of
Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act,  1956. (ii) Post Graduate
Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned.        
(iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned
for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation
Diploma.  (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Scale of Pay:  Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-       Age: Not exceeding 40 years
Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or  the
Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate

Educational & other qualification: -                                  
Essential: i) A degree or diploma of not less than 4 years duration,
included in the Homeopathic Central Council Act, 1973 and enrolment on
a State Registrar or the Central Registrar of Homeopathy. ii) 5 years of
Homeopathic practice, preferably in a hospital or dispensary.iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Qualification in Homeopathy included in the third Schedule to
the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (D.F. Hon. M.F. Hon.F.F. Hon.).
ii) A degree in Science from a recognized University. iii) Knowledge of
Marathi.


 II.            DIRECTORATE OF MUSEUMS
5. Curator                              --- 1 post
Scale of pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/-
Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:
Essential:  i) Atleast second class Master’s degree in Indian History/
Archaeology/Arabic/Persion/Museology/Art and Culture/ Sanskrit /Pali/        
Prakrit from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) One years
experience of Curatorial work in a Government Museum or any reputed
public Museums of trusts, etc. iii) knowledge of Konkani.            
Desirable: i) Diploma in  Museology,  ii)  Knowledge of Western
Architecture  iii) Knowledge of Marathi.





III.        DIRECTORATE OF SOCIAL WELFARE
6. District Welfare Officer (North and South)   … 2 Posts (1 resvd  for PH)                            
Scale of pay: Rs.9300-34800+4200/-
Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential:-  (i) Degree in Social Service  or Social Welfare or Social work
or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University
or equivalent.  (ii) 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government
recognised Social Welfare Organization. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.
Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Goa Public
Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the
discretion of the Goa Public Service Commission in  the case of
candidates belonging to the Scheduled Cates and Scheduled Tribes if, at
any stage of selection, the Goa Public Service Commission is of the
opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities
possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up
the vacancies reserved for them.
